limiting a port with a linksys router

I have a situation at the place I rent where we have a low monthly download limit, and one person refuses to stop torrenting, which forces us above the download limit, causing our ISP to limit our connection something atrocious(14k).

Our router is a linksys WRT54G, and I was wondering if there's a way to specify that the particular port being used can only have a maximum combined upload and download of say, 20kb or something?

Assuming that you are talking about two Adults, your solution is No soultion.

If the other person do not want to cooperate get your own Connection.

you could try to hide netlimiter on their computer.... :\

Depending on the version of the WRT54G, you could use DD-WRT firmware and use its QOS settings to try and limit their port.

Replace the router with something that will allow you to limit (i.e. M0n0wall).
