Hmmmm, nope, nothing there about having to impede normal life. I'd give you that if you are doing things that impede your normal life, you are addicted, but being addicted doesn't that it's going to imoede your normal life, kind of like a duck is a bird, but a bird isn't nescessarily a duck.

Obama was never dependent on drug use. He never entered rehab and he never needed counseling. All he did was take a few hits from a bong in his dorm room.

How do you know? Not going to rehab doesn't mean that someones never had a substance abuse problem.

Bush and Limbaugh both needed counseling to overcome their drug addiction. Both demonstrated addicted behavior, such as DUI and doctor-shopping. Moreover, Limbaugh was indicted for drug possession. Finally, painkiller addiction is one of the toughest to beat. Relapse is among the highest of all the drugs. It would not surprise me if Limbaugh was caught again, or graduated to harder drugs to fulfill his need.

What a total lie. This statement has zero credibility. Doing drugs and being a drug addict like Rush Limbuagh is two totally seperate things. Just because a person drinks doesn't mean they are a drunk. Rush Limbaugh was no different than any other crack head or junkie. Way to shoot a loaded question. Any quick visual examination plus the BMI will show that he's a fat fuck. Look at his belly, I'd be surprised if he can see his own dick. You can literally see the fat oozing out from his neck and cheeks. The BMI is only useful as a crude measurement. A body fat percentage is much more telling.

The American public suffered through countless Obamamershials on network TV (every channel) culminating with the "beer summit" and you are complaining about Rush Limbaugh getting 30 minutes of FOX.....what I thought only wingnuts who listened to Rush watched....and it was irrelevant?

Pretty sure you are making a issue out of a non issue. Maybe its time the the Liberals to find a new strategy rather than their only strategy at the moment of attack Rush Limbaugh.

Its kinda of funny. Weightloss? I have never seen a junkie who did't lose a lot of weight. Oxy is a powerful drug. It ain't meth or crack, but it damn sure ain't far behind.

It doesn't change the fact that that rapid a weight loss by diet alone is extremely improbable, nor the fact that Mr. Limbaugh himself states that he can neither understand nor explain the nature of his "diet". Barring a highly strenuous exercise regime, one must assume a certain amount of metabolic "tweaking" and given Mr. Limbaugh's pharmacological history...

The BMI scale is widely known to be unreliable when it comes to people who have high ratios of muscle to weight such as athletes. So no, not everyone with Rush's BMI is a fat fuck. Regardless, it is a measure used by the NIH for the general population and Rush sure as shit isn't an athlete. According to the scale he is not 'bordering' on being overweight, he is bordering on being 'obese'. This word is defined as 'extremely overweight' and 'having an excess accumulation of body fat'. In short, being a fat fuck.

Since I have working eyes and the ability to read, I am very comfortable with calling someone who looks like he does, who has the history that he does, and who has the BMI that he does, a fat fuck.

Agreed, diets rarely work without some sort of strenuous exercise of some tweeking to ones
metabolism, usually chemically induced. Or he could of had his stomach stapled which seems to be the popular method these days for obese assholes with no self control like Limbaugh.
