He wants to make a website for his Garry's Mod friends. It will be very low traffic but he does want to host some files there. Any ideas for hosting that won't break the bank? I'd like to find one that includes basic website design software, nothing fancy though.

1&1 oversells like crazy. Mind you for a very low traffic site it may work. IF you go with over sellers I'd go with Hostgator though. Best bet is check reviews at webhostingtalk.com.

I do, and other than some email issues late last year it's been just fine. I think some of their machines were compromised which led to spam emails which got them blacklisted. They cleared everything up and everything is fine now.

Thanks! He's been doing a ton better in school and I want to find a carrot to dangle for him to do even better (I'm not talking grades, more like turning in homework and staying awake) and I think this would be a pretty good carrot.
