asdf... SAKAR! the company that always has free AR camera cleaning supplies... i'd say if all you need is something to hold your camera/camcorder at an elevated level, you're not gonna find any cheaper.

personally i wouldn't trust that thing to hold my thousands in camcorder equipment... if you care about sturdy & level, it's worth an extra 20-30$.

I purchased the SLIK Pro 700 and found it to be very solid tripod. It will allow you to use a fairly large telephoto lense with ease. This tripod is very adjustable, including the ability to take closeups directly below it on the floor by inverting it.

SLIK definitely makes good equipment. I have used one (the same one) for over 20 years now.

Any good tripods for less $ than the slik pro 700? The least expensive B&H with a price of $85. I have a fuji finepix 550 and a Canon Optura 40 camcorder. Any suggestions for something good beside the slike 700?
