Acrobat Reader 6 is a bloated pig.

Anyone have any experience with a lightweight pdf reader that they can recommend to me?

Acrobat 3, 4, or 5?

V6 is a pig, and what's with the recomposing crap taking 20mins to install --- argh.

That said, so far it seems stable for me. 3/4/5 always seemed to have browser lockup issues for viewing online stuff. Got to the point where I always did save-as instead of viewing online and hated when I accidentally opened one in the browser.

I've got a 4.0 install if you want it. It's a tiny install. Just short of 7 megs in the install directory. Only uses up about 13 meg of RAM when actually running. (Small page counts anyway).

why is acrobat reader so large in size? the basic (smaller) download on their site is like 8.8 MB, which will take a long time for 56kers
