Lightweight cases?

Can anyone out there suggest a lightweight mid-tower case for ~$100? I am building my gf a new computer for Xmas (out of my computer part junkyard) and would like to get her something that won't kill her when she gets it, moves, etc.

Any thoughts?

I think Newegg still has a Skyhawk (Newegg misspells it Sky Hawk) aluminum case in the MSR (entry level server) series for $35. shipped (sorry, it looks like they have DC'd the special - now $45 shipped and it's well worth that). It weighs about 12 pounds net and Under 15 pounds Gross (with packaging). If you have a microATX mobo, then the Chenming 118 is a nice option.

The Aspire X-Sonic is the same as the original Lan Boy inside and it's a nice small aluminum case with PSU (but not a very good PSU...)

I had one of those, but from Chenming (isn't that the OEM for Aspire?). It didn't come with any side windows or side fan spots and no PSU. Got it from Newegg waayyyyyy back in the day for about $30 or so plus shipping. It was and still is the lightest case I've ever encountered that could hold a normal ATX motherboard. I did a mini review of this way back in April 2003.

I have a Super LAN Boy and it is very lightweight, but not as light as the Chenming/Aspire/original LAN Boy. I've also briefly (it was damaged in shipping) had one of those nicer 1.2mm aluminum Skyhawk cases, plus have had a few of their older style aluminum cases (ones that can't take even 80mm rear fan). Those are all fairly lightweight. My preference is the Super LAN boy (especially for $30AR CompUSA BF sale!!!) because it is light, sturdy and has good stock ventilation. It's a lot sturdier than the Chenming/Aspire/original LAN Boy, and a bit sturdier than the older Skyhawks. The 1.2mm Skyhawk is as sturdy, but doesn't have as good stock cooling though IMO it looks better (the Dealsonic $27 version only).
