actually, a recurring sore throat can be a sign of mono. so, i would say it's not so much getting hit by lightning twice as just getting hit with the whole shebang.

I didn't have a recurring sore throat. Went to the doc Monday and tested positive for Strep. The symptoms/sore throat haven't gone away. Went back to the doc this morning, conducted blood test and tested positive for mono

That really sucks.
