Excellent Deal-Prompt Delivery-Ordered on LAte afternoon Sunday received Thursday.
I tried with the batteries that come with the charger and it took me 3 hours to fully charge them. But I have to tell that i Discharge them prior just to be sure.Overall an excellent deal.
I use the batteries on y Olympus c-3000 without a glitch.
i GIVE THEM 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS RATING.

Not sure if they've changed the deal, but the way I read the site, the 4 free batteries only come with the "Web Specials".

Cheapest web special is as follows:

Web Special - 8 SANYO 1700mAh NiMH AA Cells
& 1 Lightning Pack 4000N Recharger w/ 1 Tube-Velope
& 4 JETCELL 1850mAh cells FREE. $44.95

Still not a bad deal and for $2 more you can get 8 Jetcells instead of the Sanyo cells

I had the same question, I ordered this and it should arrive within the next few days. Can anyone confirm if this deal was changed to exclude the free batteries or not? I know when I ordered I could not find anything about free batteries, but I ordered anyway because I wanted the charger.

Got mine today, seems to be exactly what I wanted. Has two settings via a switch on the back. 1, decharges the batteries down to 1v and then charges them up, once done, it turns on the trickle charge function. 2, doesn't decharge first and just starts charging right away and once done, switches to trickle mode.

Great deal, hopefully this'll work well with my new nimh 1800mAh batteries I should be getting soon (I'm using it with some 1350mAh ones now).
