I bought a UV cold cathode, and it had the switch and all that in there as well. I now realize that I don't want to do that, as I'll be using front panel switches for the lights and fans. So I e-mailed Performance PCs about it, and they said they could remove the line, and solder the leads together with no problem at all. I just had to note that in the order when I do order the lights.

I know this sounds like an advertisement (I realize now), but I just thought it was pretty cool... And some people might be able to use it--those using front bay switches for their stuff.

I guess it would save not only on cost but time so that is why.

Not what I meant. I didn't mean "I'm suprised they don't send out the items to be soldered at another location."

But I meant, I am suprised they do any soldering on their products before shipping them out. Custom soldering jobs at that. They are a retailer!

Well, they also sleeve everything they sell, by default. Unlike other places where you have to pay extra, everything comes sleeved. So I imagine they would be doing the soldering before the sleeving process...
