Hey guys. I actually bought two separate kits. Both dual; a Blue and a Red.

I had every intention of installing BOTH. One red, one blue bottom, one red one blue top. This way I could have either/both on . neato. But space wont' allow that, unfortunately...I guess I could use both inverters for just the blue tubes if the wires dont ' reach...they probably wont' as they are only 8" long. SVC has been out of the extensions for weeks now.

So, are the dual kits long enough to place one cathode at the top and the other at the bottom???

Don't have the stuff in front of me, but I know this: The wires from the inverter to the tubes are only 8" long. I doubt it.

Definitely go with 2 cathodes, possibly 3.. Placing the 3rd ( may-b a 6inch) vertically by your exhaust fans...

I would do 2 of the same color, bottom and vertical and your top color whatever you choose...

I have 1 blue and 1 yellow, but i need a digi cam to show you how it looks..

:D

I should be able to get pics soon...

Will you still need the third cathode if you got the 3 Led fans going??? ;)

Didn't know he had 3 LED fans.

THe more light, the better ;)

Hehe, really i don't know... If the case was pretty large it would go together nice...

Guess it's up to the modder... :p

Hi all,

Decided to rice out my case for my new system. :D

Got a question about the wires for the cold cathode. Where the heck do you hide it all??? ;)
The kit also came with on/ off switch. Do you need that??? If so, where do you put that????

also, I got the UV cathode going on the bottom but you can't really see the effect on the round cables. This can be due to my 3 blue LED's fans being too bright. :)
Can this be fixed other than removing the LED fans????

My Rig

Here's a pic of my PC-60 case with PC-65 side panel (I guess that pretty much makes it a PC-65 case huh?). I have a 12" blue cathode tube and three blue Coolermaster LED fans in this case (one exhaust and two intake-gives the case a nice blue glowing effect in front). One tube puts out plenty of light for this case and I have it mounted high in the case near the window. The pic above was taken with a flash and you can easily make out the blue lighting.

Nice Rig there. :Q

If you uv, will all the blue leds cancel the uv cathode effect????

Thoughts.
