Lightest notebook

depends what you want to do with it....

the thinkpad helix (tablet portion) weights 1.84 pounds, and is a fully functional x86-64 Intel i5/i7 dual-core computer that can run Windows 8 (x64/x86), Ubuntu etc... just no keyboard, and it might throttle because of heat

you can get netbooks that weight < 1.5 pounds

eg Sony vaio P series, 1.4 pounds... but Intel Atom
