Team AnandTech will overtake Phoenix Rising in 58 days. Finally some good news for our SETI crunchers!

Starting November 1st our team will participate in a 2-week SETI@Home race (Kings Gauntlet 2007) against other teams, make sure to add you name and account number to the according threadin order to support us in the challenge.

Oh btw ,I don't want to spoil the party ,but IIRC TAS is helping TA SETI atm boosting our output by about 1/4 to 1/5 (again IIRC) ,after they move on it maybe more tricky to catch them.....

I've just been toying at SETI this month, what with the server issues and other stuff. If TA and TAS are going to run the gauntlet though, count my mini-fleet in.

I havent crunched for SETI@home since the old client but i think im going to jump on board for this push.

I have a mix of AMD and intel CPUs as well as a mix of OS

Any tweaks/setting for a particular cpu/OS to crunch faster would be helpfull when i migrate to the SETI@home cause
