Lifes a bit crap at the mo..isn't it?

How are you feeling?

  • The whole world can go do one for all I care!

  • Meh, I avoid extreme positions when describing my feelings.

  • Sucks to be you I guess. My life is pretty damn perfect.

Fill in the poll, or don't...I guess its up to you. I seem to be a bit down at the mo, and as the saying goes misery loves company.

Poll now active, it was missing in the two seconds it took you to post :p

Yeah, been here for a year and got a couple more to go.

Thanks but, unless you have a magic MTFU wand, probably not. This is just a chance to vent a bit off topic. Slightly homesick, getting near christmas, could do with a proper holiday after 19 days straight in work, over reacting and over thinking relationship niggles, computer issues, all just adding up. Rarg.

Ah, don't worry about it man. Life is shit at points for everybody, but it's all what you make of it. Try and keep your head up. Of course I like to crap all over myself and make things seem worse than they ever are so I voted for the first option.

man 19 days in a row is really rough. If you work indoors spend some time outside. It says its 7pm and 60 degrees outside there right now. Get some fresh air. What do you do man?

Whats your computer issue?

When I was young I wanted to bike from Lhasa to Kathmandu and spend time in that region. Culturally have anything cool you tell about living there?

Some folks did an extra 7 days, so I think I got off slightly. Fresh air is a tricky one in the valley itself due to loads of dirty diesels, and old 2-stroke bikes. I was planning on going mountain biking this morning, but had to change plans on that too. Like I said, its just lots of little things all at once. Once you get up above the dirty air its really lovely. A few months ago we did a 1600m descent in a day.

I ride in the UK, but motorbiking on Nepali roads is another experience all together. Coming up and over the mountains from Tibet to here would be spectacular. I've only ever been up towards the Chinese border from this side.

Steam was failing to work properly, probably a mix of my ISP being annoyed with my constant downloading, Nepali internet and physX. Seems to be fixed following a restore.

Did you delete the Client.blob file in your steam folder? I have to rebuild that from time to time when steam crashes or fails to open.

Cant imagine how beautiful it is when you get in the mountains. Remember seeing something about deforestation really hurting that area. Something about entire areas turning into desert and great depression like sandstorms.

A dual sport with a big tank and you can have some serious fun there! I would also get a NSR400 since those were sold there lol

An NSR400/NSR400R is good if you are a kid still.

Bikes have come a LONG way since then.

I wish it was safer to rider around here.

I was in that boat for years. However, this year has been the biggest turn around I've ever had. My wife health improved due to a risky surgery, she looks better and hotter than she has in 20 years, I'm in line for a new job that will actually be fun and rewarding (not to mention a HUGE pay increase), and my bills are getting paid off like crazy. I'm in a really really good place now, so DON'T RUIN IT WITH YOUR DEPRESSION TALK!
