Hmmm..... the stats are going to be poor tomorrow if they don't get the server working worth a hoot. 🙁 It's really making it a pain trying to keep the farm working. Not too many hours worth of crunching left on hand unfortunately. sigh.....

Yeah, whats up with the LM servers??? My fleet has been sitting idle all night! Is this sort of thing common with LM?

Unfortunately there is a history of server issues with this project, which has cost the project many participants over a period of time. In fairness though, it is a higher education based project and is significantly impacted by budgetary constraints imposed by the university.

I've moved my systems off to another effort for the time being. At some point they will get the present server difficulties resolved hopefully. I'm one of the types that likes to hop around a bit in crunching on multiple projects, so it's a bit like a "vacation." And it keeps the farm from sitting "idle." 🙂

That's strange guys, I haven't had any problems with downloading WUs in the last two weeks, only with uploading sometimes!

OOOPS!!! Sorry guys, I just checked my LM folders and yes, I too have that problem. I only checked if I always have 200 WUs in cache but didn't check their seize. I've got around 50 that are 1kb big. 🙁

WTF?!? they arent even bothering to post anything on the forums. is everyone on vacation over there? this really sucks because the server has really been outstanding for the past 2 months or so and i thought it was finally getting ironed out. oh well, glad i have other projects as backups :\

yeah ive heard of people having like 4 different folders/clients setup so that when there are outages like this that they dont run out of cached units in other folders to run.

I am doing fine ... have it set-up to keep 20 units in the cache and xmit everytime I have a result ready to xmit ... all is fine ....

What do ya mean 1K too big???

Now that the server is way screwed up it is only sending 1kb files which are totaly worthless, you could have 20 1kb files in your cache right now. :frown:

yup, same here...i just dl'd the F@H client. Silky smooth so far...

Can't wait to get back to LM once the server issues are sorted out.
