It's all in your attitude. If you believe that life sucks, it most certainly will, since you will seek out things to confirm your beliefs. Conversely, if you believe life is good, it will be, since you will look for pleasure and happiness, rather than misery. Answer is within the six inches between your ears. 😉 When having a crappy day, sometimes it's the person looking back from the mirror, who is responsible.
