Well there goes the next VP on that show. I guess Alan Alda should start picking out his cabinet and Jimmy Smits shopuld contact his agent for more work!

Yep. I thought he was older. But he looks younger in person. I guess they aged him up for his role. Of course he did drink a lot in real life, so i am sure that did not help.

I guess a real big plot twist is coming in WW now.

I doubt it. So I am sure they have time to kill/remove his Char. from the show. Will have to wait and see. Unless they replce him with someone else to play Leo?

Yep. But if they have a story line already built they may try to find someone to take his place. Of course I hope not. I don;t think anybody could have played that Char. better. 🙁

I wouldn't call it "hilarious," but it wouldn't be difficult to explain it... they'll just say he died and appoint a new VP. Sad though, he was one of my favorite characters.

Yea the writers did a bad job trying to cover up who will win. Let alone WW is trying to go after a younger crowd, so alda would not fit that.

 
Alan Alda stated that they haven't filmed any final episodes of the season yet and that he doesn't know yet who is going to win. Honestly though, I don't know who they could select to replace Leo. I always thought he would make a much better President than Matt Santos. Anyways, I thought he was one of the best actors on the show and my favorite character. He will be missed.

His sage advice to the upcoming (new) staff and interaction with Santos is what was going to keep me interested.
 
Anyone watch West Wing tonight? Before it started Martin Sheen had a few touching words for John Spencer.

RIP 🙁
 
Yep, Spencer was the best actor on the show and Leo was my favorite character. I became a fan of his back in the LA Law days.
