Isn't it funny how much things change in just a few short years? I was just remembering going to my grandmother's house in the hills of Virginia... This was probably 12 years ago or so. It was summer and I was bored so I went fishing in this pond. I remember the pond because it was very still. It had cat-tails and tall grasses, but now I know there was probably a few carp in it and that's all (if that). But I wasted half a day fishing there because I didn't know any better. I guess I just miss being that naive. Now I analyze everything and couldn't justify wasting time to do something like that, but wish I had time to do it anyway.

Yeah I know what you mean. One day I'm on death row, next in line for the happy hunting grounds; next day, my conviction is overturned and I'm free to stalk again.

How's this for a change of lifestyle?

When I moved to Atlanta less than four years ago, I was a 23-year old single guy in a one bedroom apartment with zero pets who sat around watching football/hockey and playing on the internet.

Now, I am married (two years yesterday), am building a house and have a puppy (both of which can be seen here and I found out two weeks ago that I am going to be a daddy! At least I still find time to watch football/hockey and play on the 'net. :D

Those puppies are friggin cute. Life can change in a heartbeat. A year and a half ago I was living in my parent's basement on unemployment, and now I'm making good money in a sweet apartment, married, and living in a seperate country.

Nice house! :D

Thanks! We can't wait to get into it. Two weeks from now we will be. The wife has already conceded the bonus room to me, and it measures 20' x 20'. I can't wait until I get all of my computers and video games up there. :D
