Life Expectancy on Overclocked Video Cards and T-Bird?

most hardware has a lifespan of 5-10 years, overclocking it does decrease that lifespan. By how much depends on how much you push your hardware... i'd suggest if you push your hardware to the fullest you'd cut the life in half, so 2 1/2 to 5 year lifespans... never had any parts that long to find out 🙂

Okay cool, thanks guys. Techwhore... how's that FOP 38 working out??? I'm prolly going to get that or the FOP 32-1, and then what kind of thermal paste did you use. Thanks again.

If you push it, you may lower the life expectancy.
But the turnaround time on computer components and related things it so short, that it really dont make a difference unless you fry it.
Most people take it on as a hobby and passion, and want the best stuff.
So their hardware wont even last that long in the spotlight.
Depends on how you look at it of course.
Thats just my view
😉
