life expectancy of an overclocked 2.8E

HOw many years will it last if u overclock it to 3.4? saying that the processor is properly cooled thruout.

hmm...i don't think there's any raw data yet on life expectancy rates of overclocked cpu's. just a guess but i'd say up to a year at most.

highly "aggressive" OCers are already frying Prescotts.

sounds like a repeat of the old original northwoods.
we burned them out rather quickly @ 1.75v ;)

Probably a couple of months.....because youll realise how rubbish it is and go back to an overclocked northwood :D

I think we are going to see a LOT more motherboards going up in smoke - bringing the cpu with them unfortunately.
