life expectancy of an overclocked 2.8E

hmm...i don't think there's any raw data yet on life expectancy rates of overclocked cpu's. just a guess but i'd say up to a year at most.

highly "aggressive" OCers are already frying Prescotts.

sounds like a repeat of the old original northwoods.
we burned them out rather quickly @ 1.75v

how about a 2.8C OC to 3.5 using a zalman cooler @ 1.6v?

Shouldn't need 1.6 to get to 3.5. If temps aren't too high it should last.
