My gez is that some of U allready had a thread on it, but here it comes again....

At the current rate of assimilation of the the two best teams in the world(!) being Team AT and DPC, it will be a fast run towards the end.
But then what? Will the bubble burst? Will real life, or net life, seem somewhat incomplete?
Will we all suffer from a post rc5-depression?
Shall we miss clubbering eachother over the heads with trout?
Will a rc6 be fun to do?

I'de for sure miss the current going ons....
darn..... I surely dislike the comming of the end (altough it might takes us some time yet..🙂 )

PLS post ure ideas on it. I'm curious...

There are plenty of other fun projects to turn the crackracks to. Hopefully some of the RC5ers will start crunching seti wu's.🙂

I have wondered just how high the seti team could go in the rankings with the help of some of those massive crackracks.🙂
 
Mmm. I'm not going to do S@H, it'll only run as a screensaver and I use the computer too much for S@H to be of any use. And the cow is cute! 🙂

I'll probably do RC5-72 if DNet decides to do another RC5 contest, or maybe OGR if they don't. Don't really care about the usefullness, it's just a fun game to play 🙂
 
Hydra, s@h has a command line client that runs in the background all the time. It doesn't have to be run as a screen saver nor do you have to use the gui version.🙂

I respect the fact you don't want to run seti, I just wanted to clear that up. I'd hate for someone to pass on s@h due to false info.🙂
 
yep thats what i do, and it acts like rc5 in the fact that it uses idle time, i'm not absolutely sure, but i can play Quake3 with it running and i don't notice a slowdown. BTW i have an overclocked 466 celery
