I tend to tread carefully with LibreOffice updates; sometimes regressions creep in (I remember one in the last couple of years with regard to PDF exporting tables with visible borders, for example). I thought I would give v5 a try, so far no problems with it (on Win7 64).

When I clicked on new features at the LibreOffice website, I find a website page which is very slick with little usable content. Strictly marketing hype.

Any good links that really tell me what is new for this office product?

i think i will let others try out version Libreoffice 5 because Libreoffice 4.4.5.2 works very very well :)

That is the same logic I am using for not upgrading from Window 7 SP1 to Windows 10. Though I am on LibreOffice 4.3.4.1.

Never the less, I might try out the 64 bit program. Going back shouldn't be that much of a hassle.

Been using it on Xubuntu. Honestly, I don't see any big differences. Everything works as expected.
