Some maintenance fellows are in the "quiet study" area of my schools library (Where I am right now) using a large drill against a cement wall...Who does this during library hours!?!?! The library closes at 7 PM tonight and 9 PM most nights can't they do this obscene drilling after hours?

Why can't you just wait until after 9PM and study in your dorm where it'll be quiet?
 
Also I saw a remake of that show on MTV. I used to watch it a lot with my roommate last year.
 
They could quit doing maintenance, and there would be no library after awhile. Sometimes life bites you in the ass. Luckily, this time I think you'll recover ;^)
 
You're university is cash strapped and paying those guys to work after hours would cost more $. Do you care about this issue enough to pay more in tuition to cover their overtime?
 
The cost of doing this type of work "after hours" would be cost prohibitive. Your tuition is pretty lo, right? Imagine your tuition increase if they had to pay overtime for this type of work.

Suck it up ... keep your tuition low(er).

Its just don't you think they could do maintenance on another building during the day? Because I have 2 classes that end after 10 PM and the maint carts are still hanging outside different buildings so I assume they do work at night somewhat.

You should feel like an asshole because you are an asshole. If you want to nef in peace, go to another building.

Those "maint carts" you see at night are more than likely for cleaning crew. It's much easier, and cheaper, to find night shift janitors than night shift repair men. You know the difference, right?
 
Aren't there more than a few libraries at a university? As a engineering student I'd study in the chemistry library or physics library, there's gotta be dozens of quiet places open late at any college.
 
Sounds like this bitch that once called my boss to ask him that I do all the system support from 6-3am. Would work in theory if they could also pay for someone to do much of the sam work during the day.

She was shot down...my impact to her that day was 15mins.

Community College. The Stars program lets me attend a local community college free of Tuition for 2 years and a guaranteed transfer to any 4 year state college for the final 2 years.
