You pretend to be some kind of intellectual then you spit out this sort of garbage.

Really? Roads, firemen and police only exist because we have a multi-trillion dollar federal government? None of those could possibly exist without funneling trillions of dollars through DC?

No, LK, you're a bigger joke than those you feebly mock.

If you weren't half to moron you'd understand that whatever we've achieved on the internet wouldn't exist if not for the government. The same government that, had the Libertopians had their way, wouldn't have funded the government since it'd be handled by "private enterprise". The same government that wouldn't have funded the large defense budget that would have made nuclear silos needing communication, since we'd all live in Shangri-La without conflict (island theory).

As far as the rest, you can join Mish in your desire to outsource and commercialize all services now provided by the government and expect everything to work perfectly.

Libertopians pretend that the "Free market" will provide everything they need but ignore that the "Free market" didn't provide them shit for almost all of human existence and, by and large, this world sucked until the last 80 years of larger government intervention.

Just because something happened a certain way doesn't mean that's the only way it could have happened. It is a near certainty that it would have been developed by the private sector at some point, and even possible that it would have been developed earlier or become widespread much earlier on if it hadn't belonged to the government. Or do you think that nothing would have happened differently if the money wasn't taken from private citizens and corporations to be spent on huge government projects?
