939 cars across across North America. 340,000,000 people. Can you do percentages?

At first I thought this was a pure troll thread but now I think you might actually believe this argument.

No one's willing to part ways with their cash under the business practices of the current administration. At least not for any uncertain investments.

The service sector is notorious for not reporting (and thus paying taxes) on all their income (tips.) If we either outlawed cash tips, or came up with some other way of accurately gauging cash tips for tax purposes, we probably wouldn't be in this debt crisis.

Revenue of 1.1B on 3577 units, at and avg cost of $308,000.

But yeah, figuring out how to get that extra $1.37 in taxes from the hag at the local dive bar is clearly what is holding the economy back.
And she would have still paid more net taxes than GE in 2011 and Exxon in 2009, and prob a higher tax rate on income than either of the two. Point well made sir.

What's that line again the GOP uses to why we need to keep giving Big Oil subsidies?... Ah yes..

If you tax them more they will just have to charge more. Then everybody has to pay more for food and everyone starves and dies and the Mexicans take over.

We need to cut their taxes and give them subsidies so they will be more willing to serve food and everyone can eat for free. The GOP just wants to punish perkiness, success and having a great rack.

Seems to me that consumer spending is better than ever. I don't know why everyone's always screaming that the economy is crap, there's too much unemployment, etc. Or that gas is too expensive. If gas were too expensive people wouldn't be buying cars that get 12mpg! :colbert:

Lets break it down in real life terms .

You get married buy home have children and over extend yourself to the point that mathamaticly it is impossiable to meet your payments . You sir are bankrupt and nothing will change that short of someone else bailing you out . Well thats who our government is . It is bankrupt . We can never pay the debt. Whats going on is an illusion . Mathmaticly we can not get out of debt . With cost of living raises going to gobberment workers yearly and insane pension funds its only going to get worse . Hell I hope it all falls apart . So we can dp it over again . But this time with people in power who understand fisco responsiabilities. Not these paper dolls who speak and never act . Let gobberment shut down . Stop SS payments and I grab a gun just likeall the other baby boomers . It won't be a war like the civil war .Fought between brothers . But a war fought between fathers and grandfathers against generation X . It won't take long for the old folks to kick ass. Generation X left in the wild to fend forself won't last a week in the wild. Sure there are exceptions . But the old folks could fend forthemselves and survive. You ever stop to look at the baby boomers that are 60 years old . Pretty good shape they be in . There kids tho for the most part are fat pampered spoiled bratts . Who can't survive without a Big Mac

Jesus Christ, public education got WORSE over the past 50 years? Because that was barely coherent English.

If old folks like you would unclench your purse strings and buy a few more Ferarris we wouldn't be in this mess. What have you done to help with this crisis? Have you bought even ONE Ferrari?

It's Nemesis. Coherence is not even an option.

I will grant that this post is somewhat less confusing than his usual, though no more reasonable.

Yeah, I'm going to go with sarcasm. If it was PJ or spidey I'd think him serious, but level of insanity and absurdity is still pretty rare. Good run tho:thumbsup:

Why should extremely wealthy and successful people have to take care of everyone else? Where is the incentive to work hard and earn a living going to come from if everyone gets handouts all the time? Why do people feel this entitlement?

For some reason everyone thinks that the rich are crooks and should have to pick up everyone elses slack.

Because their professors taught them to be like this. Because they're weak minded and bought into the class warfare mindset. Because they're jealous.

Very nice troll thread.

There is no greater sense of entitlement than among the wealthy. they're entitled to their legacy admissions to the Ivy League, to tax free inheritance, to having the bulk of their income taxed at lower rates, to live in isolation from the riffraff they exploit, to membership in the good old boys club. It's their birthright. They're modern royalty, just with different titles.

Because their professors taught them to be like this. Because they're weak minded and bought into the class warfare mindset. Because they're jealous.

Class Warfare? Indeed. It's been waged from the top down for millenia, and the rich have been winning for the last 30 years. Witness the shifting of over 10% of national income from the bottom 75% to the top 1%, half of that going to the top .1%...

Or witness billionaires comparing progressive taxes to the holocaust, likening attempts to raise capital gains rates to the invasion of Poland... That's class warfare, and anybody with a lick of sense needs to recognize it. We can't fight back if we can't recognize what we're fighting against, and that's unimaginable greed at the top.
