It has, just look back at forum archives from the past two election cycles...history has this nasty habit of repeating itself, one can only hope the same happens tomorrow and we get yet another massive upset :) now that would be funny!

It's kind of funny to read this thread, and then the Obama wants to gas the jew thread. Anandtech should really block the use of "liberal, conservative, republican, democrat, left, right" and any form of any of those words. Most of the posters here wouldn't even know who to make fun of.

Now where would be the fun in that?

But considering how much you bitch and moan about it when lefties do it, I would think you'd want to avoid that kind of thing yourself. The second reply in this thread was you complaining about some theoretical behavior and fluffing Corbett...so tell me again how opposed to circle jerk threads you are.

Rainsford, I never took you for a nobel laureat but please, don't make me think you are even stupider than I assume...

Here the conservatives are in the minority...so no matter how hard they try, or how frequent some of them post, they will always be drowned out by the loonbag lefties that dominate this forum.....I bitch and moan about the those on the left because I have to sift through that crap most often, and the double standards here are pretty damn plain as daylight.

There are plenty of conservatives on here, and I still don't see how you doing the right-wing version of what you claim to hate about the left helps your cause at all.

First right winger posts something he found off a blog or wherever. Frequently it is poorly sourced or a self defeating argument, but not always.

Then another right winger comes in and screams triumphantly "CUE THE LEFTIST APOLOGISTS!"

Then someone comes in and says something about not questioning Obama because he's the messiah or something.

It's like clockwork. Really stupid clockwork.

One can make the same generalizations of the liberal circle jerk threads that pop up here in near ludicrous speed...touche

Now any minute we will see Techs, Dave, and probabily Moonbeam

You mean like the one about the wingnut Cincinnati talk show host saying that Obama wants to gas all the Jews, and in came CAD & Co. with duhversionary claims that it didn't matter because the idiotic vitriol is on both sides so anyone offended by that comment must be onesided?

But quite frankly, this doesn't bother me much. Joe has been out spouting his own hate speech. While I strongly disagree with what this SF talk radio host said, to support Joe is to support his hate and lies, and I can't do that.

Whoa their chief. No where did I say it didn't matter and your suggestion is nothing more than pure unadulterated BS. Please take your head out of your ass for once and try to be honest like you used to be before you became a BHO fluffer.

Bush's wins in 2000 and 2004 were not upsets. He was ahead in the polls going into election day both times.

Ahh, now if only I had my flux capacitor....either you didn't read these boards back then or you just have a super short term memory...

I guess that was partly my fault for not being as concise as possible with regards to my statement, but then again I "assumed" that it could be inferred given the medium which we are all using to converse.

This from the guy who just said that Bush's wins in 2000 and 2004 were upsets?

Does it make you think less about the Democratic party?

Ok, I'll admit it. I listened to it expecting it to be more like a joke, but clearly it wasn't. Calling it a death threat is about as histrionic as you can get though.

No, I've been hearing this exact talking point from Republicans the past week, and I know that some certain talk radio hosts have been repeating it. So the short term memory is yours, as encouraged by your daily spoonfeeding. My own memory is very sharp, and not easily corrupted by outside influences.

And yes, I was on the boards back then. What I recall is a lot of GOTV wishful thinking from the Dems despite the fact that their candidates were behind. If you like though, I can post the polls going into each election.

Dude...honestly, I don't know how I can make it more clear for you...it is the internet so I cannot speak slower...

Here was my original post, maybe repeating it will help...

Actually, I don't think it very important at all and it doesn't make me think any less of Democrats.

It DOES however, show that there are loons on both sides. And anyone that screams out or even whispers that they want someone dead because they disagree with them is a loon IMHO.

Ahh yes, assuming that I am in some way shape or form influenced by talking heads, and even more pointed those from damned sources such as talk radio...or rather the "wrong radio shows"....maybe that can add fuel to your ignorant assumption...

No no, sorry to burst your bubble Vic, I am not being fed anything by any such less than desireable sources but rather forumulated that opinion on my own (imagine that) given my infrequent contributions to these forums over the past few election cycles.

And again, who gives a shit about polls.

BTW - that Charles Bouley sure has a fancy way of talking. I would take a death threat from him (not so sure that was a death threat anyway) with a big bag of salt.

Well then what are you here for? If you're here to discuss politics, but aren't interested in convincing anyone of your opinion then I can't imagine what you are looking to accomplish other than trade childish insults with people. (which you seem to be getting a lot of practice at)
