So it showed 1 in stock at my local Microcenter and I looked up this model on NewEgg $319.99?! I immediately navigated back to MC's website and placed it on in store pick-up order.

It proclaimed to be a new in box item so hopefully that was not false information. It seems I cant find too many reviews or input on this enclosure so was here fishing for info. This seemed to be one of those too good to be true scenarios but we will see what happens when I go to pick it up tomorrow evening.

With the price tag this thing seems to normally carry and the good things I have heard about Lian Li I can assume this is a quality built unit? Certainly more so than the Fractal Design Define r3 I was about to order...?

Depending on how this turns out I think I will be checking the clearance section of MC's website on a regular basis now. I suggest everyone do the same as it seems stock varies wildly depending upon location. I check both Marietta and Duluth stores in Georgia.

A full tower at that price is nice, but a Lian Li... Damn. It should come with 6 fans according to Lian-Li website. Hope it's legit.

As I suspected it was too good to be true. My pick up order was canceled to due lack of stock.

Guess Fractal Design's define R3 is what I will be ordering.

Yeah I'm loving my R3. I just wish it had more space behind the M/B for cable management though, as I need cables for some lights, 8 fans, a fan controller and 3 hdd's. Can't really fault the case though, it's got so many positive things for its price

reminds me of a rocket fish....

infact i wonder if best buys going out of business has anything to do with it.

I can't help but think that something odd occured as it showed the item as being in stock and let me place the order. I think perhaps whomever was gathering up the pick up order items saw this and decided to keep it for themselves.

I know Frys employees pull these kind of shenanigans had something similar happen with a pair of 5870's on black Friday the year they had been released and they were all sold out everywhere. It kind of upsets me to be honest as there has never once been a mistake on MC's website in regards to if the item was listed as x number in stock when I went in that's exactly what they had from my experiences at least.

Oh well the R3 will fit better on my desk and I think its a much more attractive looking internally.
