Lian Li PC-777 Case

On recently seeing the Memmorial case on Lian li's website I thought I gotta get this.

Couldn't find anywhere to buy it so emailed Lian Li, the answer I got back was a little cyptic but the 'snail' case should be available to purchase from their distributers. Now waiting on replies from them.

Big Edit:

It's on its way!!

Will have photos up as soon as it's arrived. Most likely Thursday by the time I've got to assembly

I suspect that it will look better in the flesh, with some stuff in it as well.

Personally I quite like its looks, somewhat more appealing than some of these plastic fronted monstrosities that are available these days.

If I ever had that much money to spend on a case and I bought that thing I'd kill myself. Although it's nice and big, and has a potentially monster water cooling setup, it's so ugly that I wouldn't be able to look at it.

I love my LL PC60 for all the commonly stated reasons.

But that 777 should be called the 666 😛 Everytime I see it

posted, the urge to gouge my own eyes out comes over me:brokenheart:

To each his own, i guess😕

Unfortunately I live in the UK and getting a case shipped from the US is a little on the expensive side, well over $500 when I pay import duty and tax.

Just a small update. Overclock.co.uk have stated that they should have them available to order in about 3 weeks time.

I know I'm going to get one and I'm sure a few others will for the novelty value.

I just saw one of the cases online......
Man ugly is NOT the word......
I started getting hot flashes and next thing I knew i was in a fetal position crying like a baby....
That thing is possessed by the devil.....run...run...run.....😛

Maybe, but it is quite different to every other case out there. Plus my sheet metal skills aren't quite up to the standard of making a curved case.

Seriously considering this case.

Only worry I have is that the HDD cage is too close to the mobo rack. I'd eventually like to stick another GTX in there for SLI and am concerned that it will be a tight fit. Anyone seen one in the flesh to prove otherwise?

It doesnt look that bad. I sure as hell wouldnt buy it, but in my opinion i dont think its bad as the asus vento 3600. That thing gives me nightmares.

I quite agree on that one. It's entirely different rather than just a normal case with a huge plastic molding on it.

Mad King George ;-)

Being of sensible Saxon extraction the 777 is not my cup of tea. It is apparent by your

decision to have the"snail"case that there still is a Norman influence in the UK.

Please do get back to us with a report on cable runs and your impression of the air flow

the 777 offers.

I'll certainly do photos and feedback when I get it. Still very much waiting for UK availability at the moment though.

Caseclosed.co.uk has posted a fantastic review of this case minus pics. Worth a looksee.

EDIT: Just ordered mine. Should be shipping within the week.
