I've got both cases sitting right next to me... and IMO, there is no question that the Lian-Li case (a silver PC65) is a better product.

Also... and this may be just me... but having built numerous systems using both cases (and many other cases), Lian-Li cases are a dream to work with and a sight to behold. Yes, the Kingwin is certainly nice in its own right, don't get me wrong... but I find the PC65 to be WELL worth its premium price.
 
Wow, can't beat the price. I paid $160 for my Kingwin, guess I shoulda waited for this one. Then again I get pretty awesome cooling in my Kingwin (5 80mm fans vs 3 for the LL).
 
can anyone tell me how the side panel is removed? I am used to my VERY fast Antec sx-1030, with the side handle- click- it swings out.

2 thumbscrews and it slides right off.
 
Has anyone who ordered one of these received a tracking number yet? I ordered mine Monday and have sales invoice but have not received the shipping tracking number yet.
 
I keep finding myself checking out this thread. I really dont need a case I have a Fong Kai I am perfectly happy with BUT this is such a good deal to pass on. Seems like this case runs as much as 200 bucks elsewhere.
 
Just got my case on Wednesday. Got to say very high quality stuff. The specs are wrong on the website though as this case has a top fan blowhole for a total of holding 4 fans(with 4 fans included). Nice! Very light, sleek and spacious. Never thought I'd be happy to pay $100 for a case, but I definitely in this case (pun intended🙂

 
can someone tell me which face plate I should buy for my cendyne (verbatim) 32x burner?

I'm going to buy this case today.......i just can't resist it any longer...

AFAIK, there isn't one.

I bought some black drives to go into my Lian Li silver case. They look really good, IMO.

I've seen the silver bezels at CompUSA before. I am not sure how much they cost there.

Did anyone else here, like Eymar, get the extra top blowhole? If so, this deal just got hotter, imo.
 
I never understood why people would pay $100s of dollars for a case without a psu. I got myself Evercase with 300watt psu from newegg for 50 shipped..Its even cheaper now I believe.
 
some people just want their computers to look good. I know I didn't care till I saw my friends lian li... now I want one.

Mine arrived Friday and has the top blowhole. Very nice but I'm surprised they shipped in the original LianLi box. Now to get a good deal on a good power supply.
 
Here's a strange one.
I placed an order last friday at 12.30pm EST and got a phone call within 2 hours from coolerguys.com to verify my shipping address!!

They said they were gonna ship it out on friday itself and whn I asked for a tracking number, they said they would email me.

However, its monday evening, and I still haven't heard anything from them. 😱(

anyways, can't wait to get my hands on this case. this is the first time I've spent so much moolah on just the case!

now begins a torturous wait to get a deal for a power supply.....does anyone have any inside's for the Black Friday sale coming up?

Black Friday sale?? I emailed them (with my order #) two days after I ordered online because they never sent a tracking number. I received a tracking number within a hour and the box was already halfway here.
