Yes, rumors are true. They are going out of business, but they still ship out whats left on their website. Their ratings have gone down the tube, so buying is a risk!

I ordered this case last week. Received a confirmation email, but no tracking # or replies to email. However, the case came today via UPS in excellent condition.

ONLY BUY USING A REPUTABLE CC. I used AMEX.

Theyll credit your account for the charge if you dispute , so you dont have to pay anything.

Monarch customer service took a serious Nosedive. Using peoples money as float money and not issuing refund or honoring promises of 4 star technical support. Do your research and you shall see.

Dont be weanies. lol. Youre buying a case, not a support needed prebuilt system here. As long as you have reputable credit card company, you'll have an easy transaction. I did.

Howevever, if you get paranoid easily over anything, and will cry to mother if you encounter anything that feels like dispute, by all means stay away!

Everything points to Intels c2d take over. Monarch had too much risk, and pushed AMD like crazy. They didnt see it coming. Check out reseller ratings though, I think an ex employee posted a story there.
 
not an ex employee, just some "poor college student" that ordered a $4000 computer speculating. heh.
 
I also noticed this and ordered about a week ago. Arrived today in perfect condition without issue. This case is a monster in size but in true Lian Li fashion light as heck, $99 is about half most places are changing for it.

Ordering with any credit card shouldn't be an issue, any of them should back you up if you have any issues with Monarch.
 
Better check monarch out before you buy. On many of the tech boards there is word that they have gone out of business.
and none is answering the phones either.

They're out of business, but they still have people there cleaning up the old stock and shipping them out. They fell on hard times (the common speculation is the above mentioned intel craze) and owed a LOT of money, believe they filed for bankrupcy, but don't quote me on that part.
 
Monarch went downhill because they pushed AMD when Intel was making a comeback with Conroe.

Same thing with Dell. Dell started pushing AMD right when Conroe was rolling out and Dell has been downhill since.
 
Hmm, this has room for 2 power supplies. I only have one power supply currently. Will there be a big gaping whole where the additional PS space would be or is there a metal plate?

Yea - i'm tempted to go with this.... how does it compare to the similar silverstone and other li-an cases ? I had hoped for an Eclipse-62 but they never made it to the usa. Also there is the YCC-61F1.

You think it is safe to order this from monarch ?
 
Safe as long as you use a credit card. Just dispute if you have a problem, I haven't seen anyone have a problem though ordering this yet.
 
I ordered this on the the 12th and it has not arrived yet. I was charged on the 12th on my amex. When I check the order status, it says its still processing the order. Is it time to start disputing the charge with AMEX or should I give it a few more days?
 
i have also ordered on the 12th and order status is 'processing'. All the parts of my new rig are here but i don't have the stupid case!!! I am inpatient, i am thinking about calling Amex also. anyone have suggestions?
