LIAN LI case $99

I don't know if this is a repost but I just came back from the Fry's in Austin and saw the Lian Li case for sale (today only...may have been over the weekend) for $99.

Sorry, but I'm new and on the east side of the US...what exactly is "Fry's?"

just trying to rid myself of ignorance 🙂

Frys is this apparently unbelievable electronics store that sells really good stuff for dirt. Their closest store to us is Chicago or something. As a fellow east-coaster I will warn you now. You will pee yourself when you see the prices that they sell stuff at and will stop vistiting the forums as much because all the frys posts will piss you off.

hehe... nice name, PhoKing. 😉 there's a restaurant somewhere called "The Pho King" too, i think. i wonder how their pho is.

Not really for durt. I think they are a rip off just like any other retail store.

Yeah, I heard. Bashturdz stole my idea for a restaurant...but I'm sure it can't compare to mine.

while frys is a rip for mostly everything else, its the mobo + cpu bundles ($199 for a msi ddr p4 board with a 1.6 retail and a stick of 128 ddr), harddrive deals, and memory deals that are cheaper than what you can find on the net!

yeah Fry's is decent, they have crap customer service but they have a huge selection and their prices are great for the most part

There is a Fry's in Portland (well, just outside of) where I used to live... I went to Ohio for college, but in a couple months I graduate and then it is back to Fry-land for me! Fry's is okay all the time, but when they have sales, watch out! I have heard that their black-friday sales are top notch. See y'all there this November!

<< Pho is good. Who's got a deal on pho? >>

haha, funny you mention that. there is a place down here in san diego, and they have 2 for 1 pho, i kid you not. my moms ate there for a long time, always trying to convince me to go. i wouldn't, because i kept thinking it would taste like crap, being 2 for 1. but finally i gave in and went, and it tasted better than the places i was going to! so if you are in san diego, ask around hehe.

back to topic, which one is the PC-7? isn't it the regular sized one that has no removeable mobo tray? if so, i might wanna pick one up. just sold my cooler master 201. hmmm, but it is in austin, so usually they have different sales than do so cal

atc-201, the best looking case made (except for the uberhigh priced cooler masters). i sold it because i wanted to watercool, and there was no way i was going to cut holes in the panels of the cooler master, which are painted.

Fry's is only a great store if you are a geek. Forget it if you are a regular human. I cringe when I see "civilians" in the store trying to get help. Poor souls. The prices can be all over the board, but nothing can beat their sale prices. The best ever was the Athlon 1700XP and FIC AN11 Raid motherboard for $129. I have also found stuff there that I thought I would never find. How about a 13w3 adapter to use a Sun monitor on a PC. It was right there on the shelf for $17.

if you live in orange county, pho 54 is offering free coffee with every meal.
oh yeah.. nice case 😀
