LG VX6000 FAR @ CC

Did a basic search and didn't see this. I bought this phone last Friday for $80 after rebate then saw it at CC for FAR ($110 in mail ins), doh!

This is a great little phone, and FAR makes it a killer deal IMO.

For the FAR price, do you need to do a two year contract or can you get the phone without signing up for any plans?

Yeah, still shows up as $89 for this area.

I renewed my contract, and it was FAR a few months ago at the Verizon store. I like the phone. I bought the data cable at RadioShack for $20 and get my pics for free... (Get the BitPIM software from sourceforge) http://sourceforge.net/projects/bitpim/

My only beef is no speakerphone.

Check here for a supposed firmware upgrade to give you speaker phone. Haven't tried it yet though, so I don't know if it works.

Thanks for the heads up on the cable at rat shack, everyone else want $40 for it. Thanks on the software too.

As far as getting the phone without signing up for service, I doubt that, since no one I know does that.

i believe he meant without extending a contract... for example, im 1-year into a 2-year contract, and if this deal is for just the phone and not a discount for signing up or extending your contract, then im going to go buy it.

the phone is FAR through saturday and it REQUIRES activation & contract. Phone w/o activation and contract is 179.99 or so I believe.

also, the phone is only FAR with the above requirements for NEW Verizon wireless customers only.

I picked mine up last week...

I'd rather have the vx7000 but I don't want to shell out 100+ dollars on a cell phone...

i got mines for $60 AR about 1 1/2 months ago. 2 yr contract w/ verizon.

went to a local cell phone dealer.

Bought the cable from radioshack. Works great. Only feature i would have wanted is a speakerphone.

The ticket price states that the phone is 109.99 with activation and service. There is a mail-in rebate of 110.00 so you'll end up making 0.01 (before taxes of course).

Underneath that in small print, it states how much the phone is w/o service and activation. If you go to circuit city, and look at the price tickets underneath each phone, you'll see the prices and details.

I also need to stop by radio shack and get the data cable.

BTW, which program am I d/l'ing from bitpim.com?
