LG Rumor

What are your opinions on the LG Rumor? Do you think they are a pretty good phone, or am I better off looking at something else?

I ask because I dropped my phone at the beach and it's completely dead. I don't have insurance on my phone, so it's time to buy a new one. I found the Rumors and accessories pretty cheap at Cellular Factory, I just don't know if I should go with the Rumor or a Motorola Razr.

Any recommendations?

I would go with the LG Rumor. It's a nice phone, and the layout is pretty neat. Not too many people seem to have heard about it though, and I'm not sure why. I've never had a problem with it. Cellular Factory is reputable, I bought a charger for my phone a while back.

By the way, I personally don't care for the Razr or even the Krazr. The buttons have always bothered me, they feel strange. Anyway, good luck with your phone troubles, and this time, get insurance!

Thanks for the help both of you. Mark my words, I am getting insurance this time. Thanks for the advice about Cellular Factory, I've heard good things about them but it's good to hear from somebody who's actually bought from them. It looks like I am definitely going with the Rumor, I appreciate the input!

do you guys like the keyboard on the rumor? when i tried it out it felt a little weird to me. Maybe i just needed to get used to it.

I use the text message feature a lot, so the Rumor's keyboard is really great for me. I would say that it is one that you have to get used to, but it's not totally strange.
