LG DVD 4161. Will it burn DVD-RAM?

Hi!

Some sites mention that the big difference between the LG 4160B and the 4161 is that the first burns DVD-RAM at 2X and the second at 5X. Is this correct?

I've seen other sites that mention that the 4161 doesn't burn DVD-RAM...

Help appreciated.

Inikay.

Someone on cdfreaks was erroneously sent a 4161 when they ordered a 4163 and it did not have DVD-RAM. I understand it is a cut-down version, possibly to save a buck on licensing. I would be sure get the 4163 for the latest 5x DVD-RAM (same as the 4160), plus 4x DL and 8x +RW.
