I don't know what all the fuss is about Lexus's vaunted service. I've also got a GS300 and I took it in for 15K service a month ago. I spent $350 for the usual oil change, tire rotation, etc. I asked them to check out my dash board because one of the LCD bars blew out but they said everything was all right. I asked them about a squeeking noise coming out of my right front wheel but they couldn't find anything wrong. I don't think they did anything with my car. Plus, my idle on my car is like 400-500 rpm and they never adjusted it!

And the second time I brought my car in they didn't even wash it.

Their service is very over rated.

BTW: I took my car to 3 different dealerships and they all sucked. The only thing they always changed was my license plate holder. It went from Lexus of Englewood to Bob Ciasulli Lexus to Lexus of Manhattan.

Lots of posts about how much faster a 5 speed is in the 1/4 mile compared to a Auto... But then again we don't have many people here who Watch/Run cars that run below the 9's I guess. Humand don't/CAN'T shift that fast.

If the Lexus is going to gain THAT much from going to a 5-Speed then I would rethink about what you think of their engineering cause they must make a horrid Slushbox.

<< Can't argue with your points..... I would however strongly invite you to go test drive a 325i or A4 Quattro >>

I'd choose an A4 over a IS300 no questions asked.

Anyone test driven any or all of them?
I know as much as I enjoy the Hardware reviews here, the addition of cars is only logical. I am sick of MB reviews, etc. Next time I log on it would be cool to see a sports sedan round up!

BMW 0wnz J00 all know that!

The Lexus is nice, but I prefer a BMW though. Watch out, a lot of people I know are trying to get IS300 lights for their cars..

Yeah...the new Mercedes C class does look really sweet! Oh, and the 2002 Audi A4 is starting to look better the more I see it :)
