Yup...looks like we're looking at an IS300 rather than an IS350.

Any word on the possible price?

This is fantastic news... if/when confirmed. I am very anxious for NY show.

The G35 sold 71k+ units? that's very impressive...i didn't think they would break 50k...much less outsell Mercedes and Audi!

Good thing around here Merc and BMW wipe the floor with lexus...I even see more Saabs...

So do you like badge whores or not? Because that seems contradictory. Don't tell me people who buy Mercs and BMWs aren't badge whores.

hmm.... why isn't toyota sticking the 3.0 (3fs-ge ?) in the is and sticking the 350 in the gs? that's backwards in marketing

not bad, at least it gave me the "tsx" impression the very first sight of the car, which is exactly what it should be.

i still prefer the old one though, 2jz is simpyl the best engine toyota ever made (even though it's a gas guzzler)

btw nfs4 are you on is300.net? i am

Weight for one maybe...the current IS300 weighs 400 lbs less than the current GS300...

I also don't like silver plastics. It looks like cheap consumer electronics. I think it should either be aluminium or wood, but not both as the dominant decoration material.
