I received a Staples email on an upcomming sale. In it they have a deal on the Lexmark Z605 Color Inkjet Printer.
? Prints up to 14 ppm black, 8 ppm color
? Up to 4800-dpi resolution
? 100-sheet paper tray

SKU: 509936

regular price: $49.98
coupon -20.00
sub total: 29.98
Shipping: $0.00
Pre-Sales-Tax Total: $29.98

The sale is posted as being valid from Sep. 28 thru Oct. 11 but I was still able to place my order online and I received an email confirmation. I clicked on the sales flyer in the email and found the printer on pages 4-5. I then clicked on the printer and it took me to the page that I have linked to below:

http://instorespecials.staples.com/staples/circular_browse_listing_detail.asp?storeid=2278055&pagenumber=4&rapid=24521&listingid=-2098488278

look for the "additional savings" box and click on it to get the coupon.

Bonus: $10 gift check,"Gift checks redeemable by mail for in-store purchases only. Valid for 90 days. No cash/credit back."

Good Luck

Lexmark printers are a lousy deal. You have to pay $$$ for refills that only have a tiny amount of ink in them. I can buy generic cartridges for my Canon and Epson printers for $2-4 each. Lexmark has patented their cartridge designs and sues anyone who tries to sell compatible ones.

Or you could just refill them like I do.

$29.98 plus $10 GC and no rebates. Great deal!

I also refill my lexmark cartidges and I usually get about three to four refills each before I have to replace them so it's not so bad costwise. There are also generics on the market that are about half the cost of new and work just as well.... just a few alternative ideas incase you were contemplating getting this printer. you could also use the $10 GC towards the cost of new cartridges if you wanted to.

Thanks for the deal; for a refilling-type person such as myself, you can't beat this price... heck, just throw it away when you're done if you don't like the prices of the cartridges... at $30 (minus $10 GC), you can't go wrong.

I wouldn't take that printer for free.. well maybe it would be fun to shoot at it with my shotgun or 357... but that's about it.
