I'm pretty interested to know how he watched what the program was installing. Anyone know how this can be accomplished?

I wonder if Lexmark is considering using this to deny warranty service if you don't use Lexmark carts.
They may put that in future TOS/warranty.
Their software does report the serial # along with the data, even though they "don't collect personal data".

What if the counter doesn't get to one? Does it count as zero? I'd be kind of embarrased if it doesn't round up.

thy dont print any better then what canon adn epson make, but the DO cost MORE and their ink costs MORE

My z53 and z45 were free (I think the z45 might even have been better than free) and I refill the cartridges (one is on refill 12). If one dies I have another better than free z45 in the closet waiting.

Actually their cartridges are insanely expensive if you have to replace them. Wasteful as it may be, I have been able to replace the printer cheaper than buying new cartridges.
