Lexar USB Universal Media Reader flaky in Windows 2000?

I bought one for my dept. and it doesn't always work with my dept's Windows 2000 computer. (Athlon 1 GHz with Asus A7V)

If the Lexar one is flaky, are there any other better ones?

I have a CameraMate for my office, and it works great via the parallel port in NT4.

hi eug, did you download the w2k drivers from lexar? the ones with the cd don't work.

i've had 2 of them and they seem to work fine
