It is priced differently in different regions. Probably doesn't matter if you get it online, but ymmv at B&M. I don't think the B&M will honor prices from other regions, but you never know.

On another note, in some regions the WD400BB is $39.98 after rebates, and in others there is an extra $10 instant savings for a $29.98 final price.

i went to my office max near my uni and they were out of stock for these. The manager said that they are substituting the Belkin 128MB drive for $19.99 out the door (no rebate to hassle) and i got one.

unfortunately, when i reached home, the drive was defective. Went to a diff office max near my home and they were out of stock of the lexar in the ad too and told me that they were also substituting the belkin. Got the exchange and voila, it works now.

$20 out the door w/o any rebate is good imo.

I'm going to take the OfficeMax ad to my local Circuit City store and have them PM (at 110%), the OfficeMax after rebate price of the Lexar 128 MB flash drive and NO! rebates to deal with.

I just picked up 2 of the belkin drives as substitutes at my local OMAX. 19.99 each with no rebate hassles. Apparently, the lexar drives never made it to the SoCal Omax stores.

BTY: Well 2 of the 3 Circuit City stores that I tried to PM say no go on a after rebate price PM, so it depends on which store you go to and which store manager you talk to about the PM. The gril at the CS counter give me the after rebate price without me asking for that type of PM. So take your PM to the CS counter not to the store manager.

I think it depends on who you happen to get at your local CC. I got lucky and they PM'ed to the AR Price + 10% of the difference. I got it for $27.49 + tax. Awesome price!!
