Levono new release date? buy now or wait?

I need to buy a new top of the line laptop.
I'm wondering if anyone knows when the Levono line is coming out?
I need to figure out if I should buy their current stuff or wait until the new line comes out.

Searching around the web, some people say July 15th... some people say in the fall... does anyone know?

Should I buy know or wait?

look around some more, try the forums at notebookreview.com and thinkpads.com

The impression I get is, you MIGHT get your laptop late aug/early sept. Speculation is a July 15 release (most likely a paper release), some claim the new intel chipsets won't be ready until August which gives you a Sept. ship date.

If you have no deadlines (ie you're not starting school late August), I would wait for the new ones. Only downside is you won't get the crazy deals that are going on now, however also checkout the forums above for rumors bad LCD panels going into the late-production T61s.

I was playing this game too, I got frustrated and I'm getting a dell 1330.

I just noticed that their sale is ending on the 14th so I'm hoping that it means the new models will be out next week. I just wish I had an idea of pricing because I don't know whether to go for a tricked out T61P or wait.

Do you want the most for your money or do you just want the newest and greatest? If the latter, I'd advise you to wait...models will be out in August, with shipping in September or late August...however, you can get a better deal right now with all the discounts they are offering on current models.
