Yes, we need more hatred towards gays...

Edit-I thought the commercial was pretty funny though.

I don't think it's hatred of gays, but just disgust at the feminization of men.

Every post? I seem to recall seeing some computer related posts that had nothing to do with gays...Probably a few YACT's also.

I object to these generalizations about the gayness of posts!!!

Well, that's not how he worded his post. Saying "It's really quite sad how gay the world is becoming" might suggest that we ought to do something about it. As though it is a problem. IMHO that kind of thought does promote hatred towards gays.

Edit-I was referring to AMD's post. Not the commercial. Personally, I think the commercial is funny. :D

Your response to this thread is yet another example of how people have become too thin skinned and easily offended. I couldn't care less if someone is gay, has 14 fingers, or is short, being offended every time someone says something is just stupid. I guess it falls in line with the 'pussification of America' statement someone made earlier though.

The inference I got was we ought to do something about all the straight men acting like gay men or just like women. Not gay men.

Gay men acting like gay men is fine.

Anyhow, that's what I got from it.

Hey, if he had used the word "pussified" instead of "gay" I'd be fine with it. He used the word gay and threw it out there with a negative conotation. I doubt he meant gay as in happy. Regardless of his meaning it is still negative towards homosexuals.

Give me a break. I was using the word 'gay' the way he used it before I even knew what a 'gay' person was. I'm sure as hell not changing the way I use the word just because a few people might be offended. :p

Rofl, I was about to respond with the use of a word that describes a bundle of sticks but the PC filter stopped me. :(

kind of hypocritical of them considering you can go into an urban outfitters and find levis that go for a couple hundred bucks in order to compete with diesel and the like.

I stopped buying Levi's red-tab jeans back in HS after noticing the quality dropping off. I buy the silvertab jeans instead and the quality is much better. I haven't bought new jeans in probably 4 years now.

I cracked up at the "Low-carb beer -->No Carb Beer" thing. That's exactly how I feel :)

Yah, that's probably about the time they moved the manufacturing (not sure which jeans were made there) from my home town to Mexico.

I forget...a couple decades ago, did people spend hours upon hours explaining how their opinions were just opinions, nothing more, and were never meant to be offensive towards anyone, heavens no, since every single person on earth is equally qualified in every way and there is nothing wrong with anything whatsoever?

Because it seems like a big fat waste of time to me.
