Wendell goes over ddr5 design and issues developing that is seemingly solved by better airflow/cooling.
moving the power management to the dimm created more heat generation and mb design isnt helping.

with ram price bubble it may be worth it to print some brackets for fans or upgrade to better sinks.

I have one system that I just added a fan to. 9950x3d, asus ayw 870, 64gb G.Skill trident Z5 Neo RGB. etc. It will run at ddr 6000 cl30, but will fail OCCT cpu + mem. So not fine. I put a fan on the ram and it still fails. I played with the voltages and I need 1.42 to get stable 6000. However, it will run at 5800 at expo voltages. (1.4v) so I guess I'm stuck at -3.4%. Ehh could be worse.
