I was in a 'similar' situation when I was 18-19 looking back I really wish I had broken everything off before it got so horrible. Bleh.

We broke up while in another state visiting family.. basicaly we had gone on a long road trip (from atlanta to TN to visit her family, then michigan to visit mine). We had been dating for ~2 years (so not all that long).. the drive back was horrible...

I'm surprised there were no "cccccccrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww
wwllllllllllllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn my skinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn" comments yet... j/k

But, I know what you're feeling. It's hard to let go, you just want things to work out, and sometimes it's beyond your control. Time heals all wounds, and it may not seem like it, but it will get better eventually.

Because this isn't a "crawling in my skin" problem (teen angst). It's a relationship problem (feelings of loss, depression).

Rascal Flatts - What Hurts the Most

The thread title made me think of this song, so now I'm listening to it. You should too.

And then when you find someone else:

Rascal Flatts - God Bless the Broken Road

Does this song go something like... "God bless the broken road that led me straight to you.."?

cause I love that song..but the version I know is sung by a Christian band named Selah.

Now on a serious note... you say you are 18.. so I'm quite sure with a 98% chance, that this "love" was probably just physical with alot of visual stimulation involved.

Finding that one that you are really "in love" with takes a long time, and most likely doesn't happen at a young age.

I know that if I was "in love" and lost that love.. it would hurt so deeply, posting about it on ATOT would be the last thing on my mind.

I dissagre totally. How to you measure love anyways... in inches.

My greatest tragedy is no better or worse than your greatest tragedy.

Some really drunk ass dude said this to me in a bar about 5 years ago. " a king looses his kingdom, and a child looses his favorite toy. Who hurts more, who's tragedy is greater"

I think he was spitting peanuts on me the whole time he was telling me this....
