It's all about Leno and his monologue and headlines. Letterman often has to resort to making strange grunts and sighs to get a response... not cool.

letterman, then I watch kilborn for a half hour until his guests appear (I hardly ever watch the guests unless I like them), then by that time Conan is just starting, and I watch conan.

leno's funny, but it's those brainless jokes that appeal to kids, it makes you snicker or chuckle, but it's not good comedy.
