That's not the point. The point is you shouldn't have to hold it differently and shouldn't have to buy a case for it. Don't know why anyone keeps bringing up Microsoft.

Its the way they avoid the shortfalls of their beloved product. They don't dare accept the fact that the product they tote as perfect has flaws. If they did...then how could they justify paying so much for so little?

Yea, my iPhone 4 cost a lot more than other smartphones, lol. What a tool.

How is the resell value on your old phone? My 2+ year old 3G made the cost of the upgrade a whopping....zero dollars.

That proves two things:

1) People buying Apple iPhones love to overpay for old, used goods.

2) The extra $50-$100 that iPhone buyers pay in resale value means almost nothing in the face of a $2000+ 2-year contract (closer to $3000 if you need more than 450 minutes and 200MB data per month).

And the personal attacks start....I have been warned so I will refrain.

I could sell my myTouch for what I paid for it right now. That is $50 less than I paid for the Galaxy S. I also pay considerably less per month.

doesnt really bother me as i have a case on mine (never planned on using it without one, ever). even during the time when i had to use it naked (waiting on my case to ship), my calls never dropped and the quality never degraded, regardless of which hand i used to hold the phone.

An iPhone with Sprints Everything plan would be awesome.
And it will never happen.

I mentioned RROD only because people were saying if this was an MS phone, that people wouldn't be bitching.

You mis-read. He said, in fact, the exact opposite. If it were a Microsoft phone this issue was happening to, then Microsoft WOULD be getting burned at the stake, like they were for the Xbox360 issue.

Where are the Legions calling for Apple's head over this?

Oh, and just because you know somebody who doesn't take care of their devices (seriously, SEVEN RRODS?!) doesn't mean jack or shit. I have a launch day Xbox 360, and it's never even crashed, much less RROD, and I played it a LOT, with my cat even blocking the fans.
