what kind of coffee?

I prefer the Costa Rican beans. I used to take a little Melitta filter set up and a grinder with me as I traveled in Central and South America. I would try samples from all the coffee producing areas and the Costa Rican was the best. Jamacian Blue Mountain is reputed to be the best, but never noticed a taste difference that was sufficient to justify the cost. If I had been a smoker, I would probably have smoked a pipe. Always kind of hated it that the health penalities outweighed the pleasure and pipes went away years ago. It was kind of nice to smell the pipe from a distance.

I can dig that, I am a smoker but I roll my own, much more enjoyable, they say the really bad part is in the filter anyway though. *shrugs* this is way OT though.

Back on track, how much credibility does the #2 of the week have anyway?

Still on the OT, but for only one more post. They have a GRITS festival down here. I was looking forward to it this year as I missed it last year. I expected to see what kind of stuff could be done with grits. You know, with cheese, baked, etc. What a disappointment that was. There were NO GRITS! A little research and I was told that GRITS stood for "Gadsden Rocks In The Streets". Major downer! This is a small southern town in the mountains. Rocks is hardly the word! Yeah, I'm from the country.

Knew that, but your reply was so good, I had to comment. Wasn't meant to be nasty.

Yeah, the liberals will believe Al Qaieda over anyone else. That's why they were defeated in 2004 and destined for defeat in '06 and '08.

They probably expected AQ to own right up to the letter and perhaps provide additional commentary about its contents.

Or this could be some a more complex explanation, US intelligence thinks it's from one person, it's really from another. As far as both sides know, they are both telling the truth. But the fact that AQ is denying it does raise some question without requiring anyone to totally believe anyone.

I swear, complex situations just escape you people, don't they?

If National SECURITY Advisor Condoleeza Rice told the public that nobody ever thought terrorists would use planes as missiles but there was a report that showed otherwise and there was eve a god damned TV show that had a plane being used as a missile to crash into the ... WORLD TRADE CENTER

You would believe Condoleeza.. right I don't know if it is just Gullible or Stupid.

:cookie:

And the BushFanbois believe anything this administration throws at them. That is painfully obvious. That is why the GOP is destined for defeat in '06 and '08. That letter apears more cooked than a Thanksgiving turkey. LMAO, an intercepted letter...

Yeah, imagine that. They intercepted a letter. They intercept phone calls and internet transmissions all the time, what is so unlikely about them getting their hands on a damn letter? Or are you one of those conspiracy theorist wackos who believe the government took out the Towers and blew up the levies in NOLA?

You've shown yourself to be a tool of the left and nothing more. Congratulations.

According to the letter, released this week by U.S. intelligence officials, al Qaeda's second in command Zawahri urged the group's leader in Iraq to prepare for an Islamic government to take over the country when U.S. forces leave. He said brutal tactics risked alienating Muslims.

"Ok Don, my approval rate is down and I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. Kids are still dying over there and I'm hearing cries of "pull out" more frequently now. You gotta help me. Give me something, anything."
