Probably belongs in a brag/moan thread, but I gotta recommend letstalk.com.
Used their service(s) to pick up a Nokia 6230 for 89.99 after rebate(s) ($50 instant, $50 mail in).
Plus I get a $25 gift certificate to The Sports Authority. w00t.

Their order status is unbelievable - I saw my phone go from "number port request" to "credit check"
to "programming" to "shipped" in about a day and a half. I ordered the phone/service on a Tuesday and the phone arrived on a Friday.

Yup - letstalk is awesome. I remember about 18 months ago when I was shopping for a cell phone I found them. I wanted a T616 (which at the time was pretty much the latest and greatest) - and through most places I could get one for like $50-100 with a 2 year contract. With letstalk - I only had to get a 1 year, $30/month contract, and the phone was free. Also - they sent me the rebate checks within weeks of me sending them in.

I just picked up a VX7000 free after rebate from Amazon, seems to be one of the better phones on the market, according to reveiws I read. Does everything I need it to. WARNING: No bluetooth! Egads!

Good phone for Verizon. Oh, that's easy: the V710!

OH WAIT.

It's a TERRIBLE phone for Bluetooth -- and it's Verizon's only one.

Have a gander at the myriad HowardForums threads, or simply go to this page.

I own this phone, and I loved it until I realized that Verizon will only attempt to more completely screw me over more and more. Basically: they crippled the phone's Bluetooth functionality, and not only do they intend to never address this issue, they intend to further restrict the use of the phone by disabling the transfer of files onto and off the phone via the expandable memory slot. Also, the picture/video quality of this phone sucks royally.

Another big thumbs up for letstalk. I ordered 2 Razr V3 phones and Cingular service through them. I had a number port as well. I couldn't believe it when I placed my order on a Monday, watched it go from porting to shipped in the same day. I took overnight shipping for a little more and man was I glad I did. My Nextel service got cut when the port went through so I couldn't make or receive any calls. Got my phones the next day, charged em, and was good to go. The service and coverage with Cingular is so much better too compared to Nextel. The Razr bluetooth is totally awesome. I can send pictures, files, games, ringtones, etc to the phone without an issue. :)

Nightfall,

How's the voice quality on the Razr? Does it have a speakerphone? If so, does it work good?

I don't give a rip about pictures, games, ringtones, or any of that other non-phone stuff - I can do that on my PDA/MP3 Player/Laptop/Watch/Sunglasses - whatever!

I want a phone that sounds good. A phone with a wireless headset!

Another bump for letstalk.. Got my Nokia N-gage QD for $50.. Couldn't find a better deal anywhere else. Can't beat a bluetooth phone for $50, and it came with Tony Hawk.

I love the Razr phone. It does have a speakerphone, but I have only used it once. It worked real good for me when I used it. I spend more time on the bluetooth headset than the speakerphone. I have the Motorola wireless headset HS810 and the HS850 and both work great on the phone.

There are some drawbacks though. The menus are a little slow and the software on the phone isn't the best. However, it is a very slim and slick phone. Search on google for some reviews on this phone. Overall, I think it is worth the money.

horrible simply horrible. One of their managers told me to shut up??!!! When I complained about their return policy. Seriously told me to shut up. buahahaha. I have not had such service since I was drunk in a bar (that time I desearved it). This company is a joke. They shipped me a broken phone. When I tried to get it exchanged they infromed me that it will take 7-10 business days to replace it. buahahahah 7-10 days without a phone. If you do not have any issues this service is fine. Anything goes wrong and they are horrible. Read their policies really well. Their customer service people are rude and it was a nightmare dealing with them. I will never ever use them again. Buy directly from the phone company you are going to have your plan with. It may cost you 50 bucks or so more at first but with the hassle it will save you it is well worth it. NEVER AGAIN.

Looks like letstalk.com isn't doing so well......

12 reviews lifetime?

I think bad CS is a standard in cell phones and cell phone companies.
T-Moble tried ripping my off by $100. I switched service plans 1 month and used a ton of mins the next month and they billed me based off of the previous months plan.
Then the CSR wouldnt lower the bill to the new plan that I HAD signed up for.

You all should try A1 Wireless. Not only do you get a free phone, but you get money back and certain accessories. Just check it out, you'll be amazed, if you already didnt know.

Ok phone broke again. 2x in less than a month. Each phone I had for about 2weeks and they broke. They happen intermittently which indicates a software programing issue (I got this directly from Nokia). That means that they are not programing the phones right before shipping them. Yet another reason to stay away from Letstalk. Not to mention they are incredibly rude and have horrible service.
