Every time some troll comes in with some disparaging remark - (no fingers being pointed here) Let's just say someone from Mars says they're superior because their skin is green and they speak Martian better than we do - or some crap. IGNORE IT! - NO REPLIES.

Nothing. How's that sound for a strategy?

<< Act like it's the little annoying brat down the street >>

Somehow, that statement and Paulson are meant for each other😛

Just kidding Paulson....I told you earlier how proud I am of your RC5 and recruiting effort😀

sounds like a great idea. The problem is. We all know someone will answer anyways. 🙁

Sounds good to me. Let's think before replying. It's easy to get caught up and want to respond immediately to a troll post. DanC is correct as usual, we should just ignore them. A troll is looking to start turmoil, cause problems.

Ignoring them takes away their fun.

Sign me up! 🙂 If they really are from Mars, the SETI crew might want to talk to them, however... 😉

When I first got on the internet I quickly realized how easy it is to missunderstand someones intent.
I like to give them the benefit of the doubt and think the things said are meant in fun.
If they are truely a troll, I still laugh at it and choose not to respond.

I am from Mars!!!

We are superior because our skin is green!!!

We also speak Martian better than you do!!!

crap crap crap crap

Just testing to see if it works 😉

DanC - Sounds like my general advice I usually give out so I'm 100% for it.

My two rules:

1) Assume that the post is not meant to be a troll
2) If, after reflection, you decide it was a troll, ignore it
