Close to Gandhi, but even closer to the Dalai Lama.

This puts me closest to nelson mandela.

I think it's been done here before, I wonder what i got. I knew I was more libertarian than authoritarian but didn't realize I was quite so left leaning. I guess that may be contemporarily influenced after seeing what's happened to the economy at the hands of unchecked avarice.

A question for people with the positive Authoritarian scores.. Do you want to be the one in control (or more accurately, for the ones in control to mirror your beliefs) or do you just like being told what to do?

I would like to see a group of intellectual elites within power controlled by an outside force or group who can decide who servers on the council of elites. Whether or not I am part of that group or outside force.

Obviously I can go into more detail, but my belief is not anything new really, it has been around fro a while. :)

Also, on a side note people with authoritarian scores do not neccesarily disagree with the essence of democracy.(I don't)

Yeah, they tried that on The Simpsons.

Pretty much as I thought. I am relatively economically conservative but socially liberal (mildly). Means I could never run an a Repulican - maybe a right wing Democrat. Too bad there isn't a party that represents me. People that want the right thing done economically but without all of the social hang ups that religion brings.

An interesting addition would be to add your age. Would be nice to see how these beliefs trend with certain age groups.

Funny, I bet the recent economic situation and political change has made my opinions change a bit.

Economic Left/Right: 5.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.95

Before I was in the libertarian box and further to the right. Pretty much right on top of Friedman.

I consider myself a Conservative Democrat.

Economic Left/Right: 4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.46

Seems to be about right, although I thought I would be closer to libertarian than that.

I'm about half way between the pope and center.

I've been going up and left on the chart for the last 5 years. Slowly but surely going more left and more authorative.

Right near Gandhi, Mandela and The Dalai Lama... Which is good, because of all the people mentioned on the various graphs, those are the only three names I'd even want to be remotely associated with in terms of any ideological perspective.
