Lets Talk About Prescotts?

OK, I am sure at least a few people are curious, myself included as to the new Prescott chips, and Mobo compatibility. How's about some first hand heads up's as to mobos used and issues?

If the motherboard site does not say it supports Prescott, It does not.

Well The reason for the thread, is that beyond just basic curiousity, I have read a few things as to Incompatibility, and Prescott's.

My neighbor has a P4S800D (655TX) and a Prescott 2.8 and he has no issues other than the it running a little hotter than a P4 at stock speeds.

All Abit 865PE and 875P Boards are Prescott Compatable

Sure it's hot. We all new that was going to be the case but, it is not any hotter than my old XP1700 and XP1800 got. Ofcourse those were not even half as fast as this puppy. Sure my 2.4C @ 275fsb is a bit faster at some things but I am still keeping this and selling my 2.4C
